Reviewed feature status
This legacy URL previously described leaderboards and private leagues. The current app is not represented here as offering those features, and earlier unverified engagement figures and member testimonials have been removed.
Metric’s current social tools let people create profiles, follow one another, post workouts and achievements, receive notifications, and choose live-workout visibility. They are communication and sharing tools, not evidence that a particular user will exercise more or improve a biomarker.
Keep the audience in mind
- Share only the workout details you are comfortable making visible.
- Check route and location information before posting a recap.
- Use follow and notification controls to shape the experience.
- Treat another person’s score or workout as context, not a health target for yourself.
Social connection has a broader evidence base in public health, but that evidence cannot establish that a particular app feature causes a health benefit.
Wellness and editorial boundary
Metric is a wellness product. Its scores, AI responses, nutrition analyses, and wearable-derived values are informational estimates, not diagnoses or medical advice. Results depend on the data available and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review source data and speak with a qualified professional about health concerns.
